Our Food Service and Retail Formats

FOOD SERVICE FORMATS: The Food Away From Home Association’s founders have been involved in the Food Service industry (as suppliers, partners and media) for many years.  Our new membership will include operators and franchisors as well as others such as food service providers, chains, distributors, associations and more.  We are also expanding into healthy option ideas and introductions for their customers (smoothie, juice and yogurt).

FOOD SERVICE FORMATS IN SCHOOLS, COLLEGES AND OTHERS:  The Food Away From Home Association will also be involved with the promotion of food service concepts ideal for food courts and/or stand-alone sites in colleges/universities, offices/factories, hospitals, government buildings, active aging facilities, remote sites, tourist locations, museums, theme parks, water parks, zoos, aquariums, schools and others.

RETAILERS: A-number of retailers (supermarkets, mass merchants, military exchanges and commissaries) are partnering with franchisors (and others) in creating in-store food service kiosks (smoothie, juice, coffee, boba tea and / or yogurt).  Popular food service groups such as Starbuck’s, Jamba, Smoothie King, Planet Smoothie, Red Mango, Yogurtland, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf and others can be seen in retailers already.
* The Food Away From Home Association will be helping introduce other franchisors with retailer partners for new concepts for stores

Partnering Supplier Product Programs

Our supply partner programs and products are ideal for behind the counter and on the counter in many retail and food service formats such as smoothie shops, yogurt shops, natural grocers, juice shops, coffee shops, supermarkets, hospitals, colleges and universities, mass merchants, club stores, natural restaurants, vegan restaurants and many others.
* Other formats such as fitness centers, hospitals, colleges and universities, airports and others have smoothie shops, yogurt shops and juice shops as well
